About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features two nested surfaces in black marble with gold-toned metal edging for a luxury finish. This nested coffee table set consists of two distinct tiers with rounded-corner square tops. The surfaces are finished in a dark, veined black marble, framed by a slim, gold-toned metal border that provides a sharp contrast. Each table rests on a solid, matte black central pedestal base, ensuring stability. The offset configuration allows for flexible arrangement within a seating area, offering varied heights and surface areas for decor or functional use. The set includes a small decorative tray and a vase, which complement the sleek, modern aesthetic of the overall design.

The download is a 4.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection and placement within a scene. The marble textures are mapped to standard material slots, enabling simple adjustments to glossiness or displacement maps for closer render shots. Users should reset the pivot points to the base of the pedestals upon merging to facilitate accurate floor-level alignment. The model is optimised for quick integration into interior visualization projects without requiring complex topology clean-up or excessive scene management.

This nested coffee table set is ideal for upscale residential lounges, hotel lobbies, and executive waiting areas where a sophisticated, layered look is desired. It pairs effectively with low-profile contemporary sofas or modular sectionals, serving as a functional focal point. Architects and interior designers might search for this piece when specifying high-end living room furniture that balances dark stone textures with metallic accents. Its compact footprint makes it particularly useful for smaller apartments or boutique commercial spaces requiring versatile, space-saving surface solutions.
