About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a black leather recliner chair with a sculpted walnut-brown timber base and swivel mechanism. Defined by its ergonomic profile, this recliner chair features a high-back design with stitched leather upholstery in a deep black finish. The seat and backrest are padded to provide a structured yet comfortable appearance. A prominent walnut-toned wooden frame supports the armrests and integrates seamlessly into the pedestal base. The base itself is a wide, stable, geometric ring that allows for full rotation. The contrast between the dark, matte-textured leather and the warm, polished wood grain gives the piece a sophisticated look suitable for high-end residential interiors and private office spaces.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the component directly into your scene. The geometry is organised for easy placement, allowing you to quickly position the chair in living areas or reading nooks. Use the native rotation tool to adjust the swivel orientation as required. If adjusting the materials, ensure you maintain the procedural wood grain mapping on the base and the leather bump maps on the upholstery to preserve the visual quality during render exports.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, home libraries, or executive office settings where a comfortable lounge chair is required. It pairs well with modern floor lamps and minimalist side tables, making it a versatile choice for interior design projects. Professionals searching for ergonomic lounge seating, swivel recliners, or premium leather armchairs will find this model useful for adding character to a space. It is particularly suited for high-quality visualisations of reading corners or relaxation zones within a larger floor plan.
