About this asset

This contemporary black fabric lounge chair set for 3ds Max includes a matching dark wood side table with integrated decor. This set features a low-profile lounge chair upholstered in a matte black fabric, characterized by a clean-lined, minimalist silhouette and a fixed, upright backrest. The frame is finished in a matching dark tone, providing a cohesive aesthetic. Accompanying the seating is a sculptural, three-legged side table crafted from dark-stained wood, featuring a geometric top profile. The set includes a small collection of props, specifically a newspaper and a coffee cup, which add a sense of lived-in realism to the arrangement. The proportions are balanced, suitable for compact lounge zones.

The download is a 42.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised into logical layers for easy selection. The chair and table are provided as separate, clean-geometry objects, allowing for independent placement within a scene. Users should check the material IDs and texture mapping to ensure the dark wood and fabric shaders respond correctly to the scene lighting. The asset is scaled to real-world dimensions, making it straightforward to drop into architectural visualisations or interior design models without significant adjustment to the pivot points or geometry.

This lounge set is ideal for creating intimate seating vignettes in modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive breakout areas. The dark, neutral palette works well in high-contrast interiors or minimalist schemes. It pairs effectively with large-scale floor lamps, textured area rugs, and abstract wall art. Professionals searching for 'minimalist lounge chair', 'black accent chair', or 'contemporary furniture set' will find this model useful for adding functional detail to architectural renders during the final stages of interior design.
