Contemporary Black and White Fabric Curtain Set

This contemporary 3ds Max curtain model features a layered composition of black and white fabric, ideal for high-end interior visualisations. These floor-length curtains are presented as a structured, double-layered set. The design features an outer pair of opaque black drapes flanking a central, lighter-toned white sheer or semi-opaque fabric. The geometry captures soft, vertical folds and natural gathering at the hem, simulating the weight and drape of high-quality textile. The arrangement provides a clean, symmetrical aesthetic suitable for modern window treatments. The material finish is neutral and smooth, allowing for versatile application across various residential or commercial interiors where a sophisticated, monochrome colour palette is required to balance the surrounding architectural elements.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and align the curtain track with your window head detail. Use the native material editor to adjust the opacity and glossiness maps to achieve the desired translucency for the white layer. Ensure the pivot point is correctly positioned at the top rail for easy scaling and adjustment. The model is organised in logical layers, allowing users to toggle individual curtain panels independently for custom configurations or specific camera angles.
