About this asset

This contemporary black and gold metal console table, modelled for 3ds Max, features a striking floral motif and open frame base. Defined by its bold contrast, this console table features a rectangular cabinet body finished in matte black, overlaid with intricate gold floral and botanical detailing across its three doors. The cabinet is supported by a slender, geometric open-frame base constructed from polished gold-toned metal, which extends upwards to flank the unit. The top surface is finished in a matching gold tone, providing a reflective platform for accessories. Slim vertical handles integrate seamlessly into the door design, maintaining a clean aesthetic while offering functional access to the internal storage volume.

The download is a 15.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the frame for easy placement on floor planes. Use the provided metal shaders to adjust the reflectivity of the gold frame and top surface to match your project lighting environment. The cabinet doors are modelled as separate elements, allowing for potential animation or customisation of the internal shelving layout. Maintain logical layer organisation to keep the model geometry separate from the decorative accessories included in the set.

This piece serves as an elegant focal point in luxury residential entryways, formal dining rooms, or high-end hotel lobby spaces. Its decorative nature makes it ideal for staging scenes that require a touch of opulence, pairing well with minimalist wall art or statement mirrors. Professionals searching for statement storage, floral-detailed furniture, or metallic accent pieces will find this model useful for interior visualisation projects. It complements contemporary interiors where a balance between dark, moody surfaces and reflective metallic highlights is desired.
