About this asset

This contemporary beige velvet armchair for 3ds Max features a curved backrest, dark wood tapered legs, and a patterned scatter cushion. Defined by its fluid, curved silhouette, this armchair offers a refined seating solution for modern interiors. The frame is upholstered in a soft, light beige velvet, providing a subtle texture that contrasts with the dark, vertically fluted wood legs. Each leg terminates in a delicate metallic tip, adding a touch of sophistication to the base. The design includes an integrated, slightly reclined backrest that flows seamlessly into the armrests. A singular, square scatter cushion with a geometric, multi-tonal pattern is included to enhance comfort and provide a visual focal point.

The download is a 19 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object is placed on a dedicated layer for easy visibility toggling. The materials are pre-configured, but users should verify texture mapping scales upon insertion to suit specific project lighting conditions. If adjusting the scene, the chair can be easily rotated or mirrored to fit tight corners or symmetrical layouts. For high-end visualisations, check that the metallic foot details catch light correctly within your chosen render engine environment settings.

Ideal for residential lounge areas, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception spaces, this piece serves as an elegant accent chair. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as part of a curated reading corner alongside a floor lamp. Professionals searching for luxury seating, plush lounge chairs, or refined accent furniture will find this model suitable for both mid-stage design development and final presentation renders. Its neutral palette allows it to blend into diverse contemporary schemes without overwhelming the surrounding decor.
