About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bench features a clean-lined beige upholstered seat atop a slim metal frame, styled with a draped houndstooth throw. The bench is defined by its low-profile, rectangular silhouette, featuring a plush, channeled-upholstery seat finished in a neutral beige fabric. The base consists of a minimalist, thin-profile black metal frame that provides a subtle industrial contrast to the soft top. A detailed, grey-and-white houndstooth-patterned throw blanket is draped over one side, complete with delicate fringe detailing at the edges. The proportions are balanced, making this piece suitable for placement at the foot of a bed, in a hallway, or as an accent element within a larger lounge seating arrangement.

The download is a 14 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with distinct object layers for the bench and the throw, allowing for easy separation if required. The upholstery and blanket textures are mapped for standard render engine workflows. Users should ensure the pivot point is centered at the base for efficient placement on floor planes. Scaling should be verified against scene units to maintain correct ergonomic proportions for seating, while the material definitions can be easily adjusted to match specific interior colour palettes.

This bench is an ideal addition to high-end residential interiors, particularly in master bedrooms or walk-in closets where a refined, soft-seating element is required. It also functions effectively in hotel lobbies or boutique retail spaces as a decorative yet functional waiting piece. Designers often pair this style with minimalist bedroom suites or contemporary lounge setups.
