About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a soft beige fabric upholstery and dark tapered wooden legs in a compact, curved silhouette. This contemporary armchair presents a rounded, organic profile designed for comfort and visual softness. The seat, backrest, and integrated armrests are fully upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, providing a continuous, clean aesthetic. The structure is supported by four dark-stained wooden legs, which taper slightly toward the floor, lending a refined, mid-century-inspired touch to the overall design. The proportions are balanced, making this piece suitable for both intimate seating arrangements and as a standalone accent chair. Its seamless form hides the frame, emphasising the plush, inviting nature of the upholstery and the contrast with the dark base.

The download is a 4.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The chair is structured with distinct material IDs for the fabric and wood components, allowing for easy adjustment of texture maps and surface finishes. It is recommended to apply a high-quality fabric texture with appropriate bump mapping to capture the subtle weave. The pivot point is positioned at the base for straightforward placement on floor planes, and the geometry is optimized for efficient rendering.

This armchair is a versatile addition to residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, and executive office reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or as part of a larger lounge set in a sophisticated interior scheme. Designers often source this type of seating for projects requiring a blend of comfort and clean-lined contemporary style.
