Contemporary Beige Fabric Swivel Armchair with Plaid Cushion

This contemporary beige fabric swivel armchair, modelled for 3ds Max, features a distinctive wing-back profile and a plaid accent cushion. Defined by its organic, wing-back silhouette, this armchair offers a supportive, high-backed design finished in a neutral, textured beige fabric. The seat geometry incorporates gentle curves along the armrests, creating a welcoming, lounge-focused aesthetic. A central, four-point star base, constructed from dark metallic steel, provides a stable swivel mechanism. The inclusion of a square, plaid-patterned scatter cushion adds a subtle textural contrast to the monochromatic upholstery. Proportions are balanced for ergonomic comfort, making this piece suitable for both formal living spaces and relaxed reading corners where a soft, approachable form is required.

The download is a 19.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, users should maintain the established pivot point at the base to ensure the swivel functionality remains intuitive. The fabric and metal materials are mapped for standard render pipelines, allowing for easy adjustment of glossiness or bump maps to suit specific lighting conditions. Ensure the model is scaled correctly against the project floor plan before merging. The geometry is clean and well-structured, facilitating efficient viewport performance while retaining necessary detail for high-quality close-up renders in architectural visualisations.
