About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max sofa features a modular low-profile design with linear-tufted beige fabric upholstery and a slim metal base. Defined by its low-slung, horizontal silhouette, this modular sofa features deep, segmented seating modules with consistent linear tufting across the backrests and seat surfaces. The piece is upholstered in a soft-touch beige fabric, providing a neutral, textured appearance. A thin, dark-finished metal frame supports the structure, elevating the cushions slightly above the floor. Included in the set are a single square scatter cushion and a draped black textile throw, adding contrast and a sense of lived-in comfort to the clean, geometric lines of the overall furniture assembly.

The download is a 9.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the sofa, cushions, and throw as separate entities. Users should apply a standard material override or re-map the fabric textures to match specific project lighting conditions. The modular nature of the geometry allows for simple repositioning or scaling to suit varying floor plans. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for efficient placement on floor surfaces, and check that normals are oriented correctly for accurate light reflection.

This sofa is ideal for modern open-plan living rooms, upscale hotel lobbies, or minimalist lounge areas where a low-profile aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with low-slung coffee tables, textured area rugs, and minimalist interior palettes. Designers frequently search for this type of modular seating when specifying furniture for high-end residential projects or contemporary commercial reception spaces. Its versatile, clean-lined form makes it a reliable asset for creating balanced, uncluttered interior compositions that focus on comfort and understated luxury.
