About this asset

This contemporary L-shaped sectional sofa in 3ds Max features a natural wood base, beige fabric upholstery, and accent cushions. This L-shaped sectional sofa is defined by a clean-lined timber frame that provides a solid, natural foundation for its modular seating components. The upholstery is a neutral, textured beige fabric, contrasted by a series of scatter cushions in both matching beige and vibrant yellow tones. The design prioritises a low-profile, linear aesthetic, with deep seat cushions and integrated backrests that maintain a consistent, cohesive silhouette. The wooden base extends slightly beyond the cushions on one side, adding a functional shelf-like detail that enhances the overall architectural quality of the piece.

The download is a 20.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for efficient material adjustments and object selection. Users can easily map fabric textures onto the cushions or modify the wood grain on the frame base using standard UVW mapping modifiers. The sectional components are grouped for simple placement within a scene, while the individual cushions can be rearranged or removed to suit custom interior layouts, ensuring compatibility with various lighting setups and render environment configurations.

This sofa is well-suited for modern residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or high-end hotel lobby lounge areas. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, low-pile area rugs, and warm ambient lighting. Designers often search for this type of asset when visualising comfortable, contemporary family spaces or sophisticated corporate breakout zones. Its neutral palette allows it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interior schemes, from scandinavian to industrial, providing a versatile seating solution for both professional architectural visualisations and interior design presentations.
