About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max set features a sculptural, beige fabric curved sofa paired with a marble-top coffee table and metal base. This seating arrangement comprises an organic, curved sofa upholstered in a smooth beige fabric, complemented by a rectangular coffee table. The sofa features a low-profile, asymmetric backrest that tapers toward one end, creating a distinctive silhouette for modern interiors. The accompanying coffee table has a white marble top with subtle grey veining, supported by a geometric black metal frame. The set includes curated tabletop decor, such as a gold-toned abstract sculpture and a decorative glass object, providing a complete, ready-to-use aesthetic for high-end lounge areas or boutique hotel lobby designs.

The download is a 3.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed through grouped objects, allowing for easy placement and adjustment within a scene. Users should check the pivot points for both the sofa and table to ensure accurate floor alignment. The materials are pre-assigned, requiring standard texture path relinking if the assets are moved. For optimal rendering, adjust the light intensity on the reflective marble surface and the fabric's bump map to capture the subtle textures under various lighting conditions.

Ideal for contemporary living rooms, minimalist lounge areas, and luxury hospitality reception spaces, this set provides a cohesive focal point. It pairs well with neutral colour palettes, textured rugs, and ambient floor lighting. Designers often search for organic-shaped seating and modern accent tables when planning sophisticated open-plan layouts. This furniture combination is suitable for both high-end residential projects and boutique commercial interiors where a balance between soft, sculptural forms and clean, structural lines is required to define the space.
