About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a beige fabric curved sofa defined by its asymmetrical silhouette and slender brass legs. This contemporary curved sofa is upholstered in a soft, light beige fabric, presenting a fluid, organic shape that tapers from a high backrest down to a lower, rounded armrest. The seat cushion follows the gentle arc of the frame, providing a cohesive, minimalist aesthetic. It is supported by thin, vertical brass-toned metal legs that create a floating visual effect. The piece includes a set of decorative throw pillows in coordinating neutral tones, adding texture and depth to the overall design. Its proportions are suited for open-plan living spaces or refined lounge areas.

The download is a 21.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this component into your scene and utilise the native scaling tools to adjust its footprint to your specific floor plan. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for efficient texture mapping or material swaps on the upholstery. Ensure your project layers are set to separate the sofa from the surrounding geometry to maintain a clean workspace. Use standard lighting setups to highlight the subtle sheen of the metallic legs and the soft fabric texture of the main body.

This piece is an ideal choice for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern lounge areas where a statement seating element is required. It pairs well with circular coffee tables, organic-shaped rugs, and soft ambient lighting to complement its curvilinear form. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of asset when specifying sculptural furniture for luxury projects, seeking a balance between comfort and sophisticated, contemporary design language. It serves as a focal point in expansive, minimalist, or transitional interior schemes.
