About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp bar stool features a beige fabric seat and a yellow metal pedestal frame with a circular footrest. This bar stool presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic defined by its contrasting colour palette and structural geometry. The circular seat is upholstered in a soft, light beige fabric, providing a tactile finish against the matte yellow metal of the frame. The design includes a curved, low-profile backrest supported by slender metal uprights, ensuring comfort without compromising the visual lightness of the piece. A central pedestal column anchors the stool to a circular base, while a integrated circular footrest provides both stability and ergonomic support for the user in various commercial or domestic settings.

The download is a 1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Utilise this SketchUp model by importing the file directly into your project environment using the component browser. Ensure the component axes are correctly aligned with your floor plane for easy placement at kitchen islands or bar counters. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward application of materials or scaling to suit specific counter heights. Keep the model on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organisation, and consider adjusting the fabric texture mapping if your project requires a specific pattern or scale.

An ideal choice for hospitality design, this stool works well in cafes, bars, and modern restaurant interiors where a touch of colour is desired. It is also suitable for residential kitchen islands or home bar areas, pairing effectively with minimalist or industrial-inspired cabinetry. Professionals searching for feature seating or accent furniture will find this piece useful for establishing a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Its compact footprint makes it appropriate for high-density layouts where space optimisation is a primary concern in the early stages of design development.
