About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa in 3ds Max features a dark wood frame, beige fabric upholstery, and a curated set of accent pillows. Defined by its clean, linear silhouette, this 2-seater sofa showcases a deep-toned dark wood base and frame structure, accented with subtle metal detailing at the joints. The seat and back cushions are upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, providing a balanced foundation for the included decorative pillows. This set includes two solid blue square cushions, two patterned geometric square cushions, two rectangular cushions with a fine grid motif, and two cylindrical bolster cushions at either end. The combination of textures and colours offers a refined, layered aesthetic suitable for polished interior settings.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material adjustments. Users should check the pivot point upon insertion, which is typically set at the floor level for accurate placement. The fabric textures are mapped with standard coordinates; consider swapping these for custom shaders if matching a specific project palette. Lighting the scene requires a soft HDRI or area lights to highlight the wood grain and fabric depth without washing out the delicate cushion patterns.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office reception areas, this sofa serves as a versatile focal point. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables or mid-century modern side tables, fitting seamlessly into both formal and relaxed interior schemes. Professionals searching for elegant lounge seating, designer-style sofas, or refined 2-seater furniture will find this model a reliable asset for architectural visualisation projects requiring a sophisticated, ready-to-use seating element that balances comfort with a structured, architectural frame.
