About this asset

This contemporary fabric curtain set for SketchUp features layered panels in neutral tones, providing a realistic window treatment. This curtain set consists of two distinct panels, each featuring a layered design with vertical folds that create a natural, soft appearance. The assembly includes a light beige outer layer, a crisp white inner layer, and a contrasting brown accent strip that adds visual depth. The fabric texture is rendered with subtle pleating to suggest soft, hanging material. The composition is balanced and clean, suitable for modern interior applications where neutral palettes are required. The proportions are designed to represent standard floor-to-ceiling window treatments, offering a realistic drape and volume for architectural visualisations.

The download is a 22.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these curtains into your SketchUp project, import the component and position it relative to your window frame or wall opening. Use the scale tool to adjust the height and width to match your specific room dimensions. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for window treatments to maintain scene organisation. If using a rendering plugin, apply a two-sided material to the fabric geometry to ensure proper light transmission and shadow casting through the folds and pleats.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and hotel suites where a refined, layered aesthetic is preferred. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral colour schemes, serving as a versatile asset for interior designers and visualisers. Search for these by using terms such as window drapes, fabric panels, or layered curtains when populating your 3D scenes. They are particularly useful during the design development and presentation stages of a project to add softness and realism to interior spaces.
