About this asset

This classic grey fabric curtain for SketchUp features a decorative valance with gold tassels and tie-backs for a formal interior. This window treatment set comprises a double-layered curtain assembly featuring a structured, pleated valance finished with a decorative gold fringe. The main drapes are rendered in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by a lighter white sheer layer underneath. The composition is held in place by matching gold-toned tie-backs, which pull the fabric into soft, natural folds. The design is intended for traditional or formal settings where an ornate, layered window treatment is required to frame a view or provide privacy. All elements are integrated into a single cohesive unit for easy placement.

The download is a 41.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component. Users should import the file and align the top valance rail with the window head or ceiling line. Because the model uses complex geometry for the draped fabric, it is recommended to place it on a dedicated 'Curtains' layer to manage viewport performance. Materials are applied as standard SketchUp textures, which can be easily replaced or adjusted in the material editor to suit specific project colour palettes or fabric patterns.

Ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and formal dining areas, this curtain model adds a layer of refinement to high-end interior visualisations. It is particularly effective in hotel lobby designs or luxury suite projects where a sense of tradition and opulence is desired. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapery, or formal room accents will find this suitable for both conceptual sketches and final presentation renders. It pairs well with classic furniture styles and ornate architectural moulding details in heritage or neoclassical interiors.
