About this asset

This classic 3ds Max armchair features a deep blue velvet wingback design with intricate white and dark wood ornate base detailing. The armchair features a high-backed wingback silhouette upholstered in a rich, deep blue velvet fabric with contrasting white piping along the edges. The seat cushion is integrated into the frame, while the lower apron is defined by elaborate, scrolling white relief carvings set against a dark wood structural base. Four curved, cabriole-style legs provide support, finished in a dark tone that complements the ornamental woodwork. A small square purple accent cushion is included, adding a distinct splash of colour to the formal, traditional aesthetic of the piece.

The download is an 11 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured with distinct material IDs for the velvet upholstery, the white ornamental carvings, and the dark wood frame. Users should apply a subdivision modifier if additional smoothness is required for the organic curves of the backrest. The textures are mapped for realistic light absorption, making it suitable for close-up interior shots. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the legs for accurate placement in a scene hierarchy, and adjust the material glossiness to match your lighting.
