About this asset

This contemporary armless lounge chair for 3ds Max features a distinct brown leather quilted finish and a low-profile base. This armless lounge chair is defined by its clean, boxy silhouette and deep, square-quilted upholstery. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a rich, warm brown leather, showcasing a uniform grid-stitched pattern that provides both texture and structure. It sits on a minimal, dark-toned plinth base that keeps the profile low to the ground, reinforcing its contemporary aesthetic. The design is compact and geometric, lacking traditional armrests, which makes it an adaptable piece for modular arrangements or as a standalone accent element in refined interior spaces.

The download is a 10.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward placement within a scene. Users can easily append or merge the object into an existing interior file, ensuring the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for placement on floor surfaces. The leather material should be managed via the material editor, allowing for adjustments to reflection and bump maps to suit specific lighting conditions. Standard scaling tools can be used to integrate the piece into various room layouts without compromising the integrity of the quilted geometry.

Ideal for modern residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or high-end office breakout areas, this lounge chair provides a sophisticated seating solution. It pairs effectively with low-slung coffee tables, side tables, or as part of a larger modular seating configuration. Professionals searching for a sleek, armless lounge seat to anchor a contemporary reading nook or a luxury lounge area will find this model highly versatile, especially when paired with minimalist floor lamps or textured area rugs to complete the composition.
