Brown Leather and Dark Wood Armchair

This mid-century style brown leather and dark wood armchair 3ds Max model features a clean-lined frame with a weathered leather seat. This armchair features a minimalist, mid-century inspired frame constructed from dark-stained timber with a visible grain. The design is defined by its slender, tapered legs and gently arched armrests that flow into the backrest supports. It includes two separate, slightly weathered brown leather cushions for the seat and back, providing a comfortable, organic contrast to the rigid wooden structure. The upholstery shows subtle texture and natural variations, suggesting a worn-in, vintage aesthetic. The assembly is straightforward, with the cushions neatly contained within the open-frame silhouette, maintaining a light, airy profile suitable for various interior settings.

The download is a 45.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is organised with distinct objects for the frame and upholstery, allowing for easy material adjustments or modifications. Users can apply custom wood stains to the frame by swapping out the diffuse or bump maps in the material editor. The cushions are modelled as separate elements, which simplifies the process of applying different leather textures or fabric shaders. Ensure the model is scaled correctly within your scene units before populating your interior, and check the pivot point for easy rotation and placement.
