Brown Contemporary Rattan and Metal Hanging Swing Chair Set

This contemporary SketchUp model set features four diverse hanging and floor-standing swing chairs crafted from rattan and metal. This collection includes four distinct seating designs, ranging from single-person egg-shaped rattan pods to a wide rectangular hanging daybed. Each piece features a robust metal frame, either finished in a matte black powder coat for floor-standing units or integrated into the suspension system for ceiling-mounted types. The rattan weaving provides a natural aesthetic, complemented by plush white fabric cushions and pillows for comfort. The set offers a variety of silhouettes, including traditional basket-style seats and a minimalist platform swing, ensuring versatility for different spatial requirements and interior or outdoor design themes.

The download is a 46.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised into groups or components, allowing for easy selection and placement within your scene. Use the move tool to position the hanging chairs relative to your ceiling geometry, ensuring the rope or chain elements are properly aligned. Apply your preferred render-ready materials to the fabric and rattan surfaces to achieve realistic light interaction. Scaling is straightforward, though ensure uniform adjustments are made to maintain the proportions of the woven textures and metal frame thicknesses throughout your project.
