About this asset

This SketchUp model features a modern blush pink house-style kids bed, complete with an integrated play slide and built-in access steps. Constructed with a playful house-frame silhouette, this single kids bed prioritises both rest and activity. The structure is finished in a soft, matte blush pink tone, suggesting a painted timber construction. It features a raised sleeping platform protected by low solid sides, an overhead pitched roof frame, and a functional slide attached to the side. Access is facilitated by a set of integrated steps, which also serve as a small shelving unit. The design is clean and minimalist, avoiding excessive ornamentation, making it suitable for contemporary nursery or children's bedroom interiors.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and placement within your floor plan. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply your own wood grain or solid colour textures if the default blush finish requires adjustment. Ensure the model is placed on the floor plane and use the component scaling tools to fit specific room dimensions. For visualisation, consider using soft global illumination to highlight the house-frame structure without creating harsh shadows in the interior corners.

This bed is ideal for residential projects focusing on children's bedroom design, playrooms, or nursery schemes. It pairs well with soft textiles, neutral wall colours, and light timber flooring to create a balanced, inviting space. Architects and interior designers might search for this asset when specifying furniture for family homes, boutique residential developments, or child-centric interior fit-outs. It is a versatile choice for projects aiming to integrate play elements into functional sleeping areas, particularly in compact rooms where space-saving furniture is essential.
