About this asset

A contemporary 2-door nightstand in SketchUp, featuring a blush pink lacquer finish and decorative brass hardware elements. This compact nightstand features a rounded square silhouette finished in a soft blush pink lacquer. The unit is supported by a slender, minimalist gold-toned metal frame that elevates the cabinet body. The most distinctive design element is the pair of decorative circular handles, each accented with a stylized sunburst or eyelash-inspired brass detail. The two doors provide enclosed storage, making it a functional yet sculptural addition to a bedside arrangement. The proportions are balanced for use as a secondary table, with clean lines that contrast against the ornate metallic hardware accents.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and alignment against walls or bed frames. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly relative to the project's bed height before final positioning. The brass and lacquer materials are applied as separate faces, enabling straightforward texture mapping or colour adjustments to suit specific interior schemes. Proper layering is recommended to isolate the frame from the cabinet body for easier management in complex scenes.

This nightstand is well-suited for high-end residential bedrooms, luxury hotel suites, or boutique dressing areas. Its playful yet refined aesthetic pairs effectively with velvet upholstered beds or minimalist contemporary headboards. Designers often specify this piece to introduce a touch of colour and metallic texture into neutral or monochromatic interior palettes. It functions best in projects requiring a focal point near the bed, serving as a decorative storage solution that balances utility with a strong, characterful visual presence.
