Blue Timber Bunk Bed with Integrated Storage Stairs

This modern blue bunk bed SketchUp model features integrated storage stairs and a clean, contemporary design for children's bedrooms. Constructed with a light blue timber frame, this bunk bed configuration combines sleeping quarters with practical storage solutions. The unit includes a sturdy upper bunk with a minimalist white metal safety rail and a lower bunk set directly into the frame. A prominent feature is the staircase integrated into the side, which provides access to the top bunk while doubling as a chest of drawers. The stairs consist of five white-fronted pull-out drawers, offering significant storage for clothing or toys. The set comes complete with bedding, including mattresses, pillows, and decorative cushions in neutral tones.

The download is a 52.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When incorporating this model into a SketchUp scene, place the component using the base corner for precise alignment against a wall. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material replacement on the frame or bedding components. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall footprint if necessary, though it is modelled to standard proportions. Ensure the drawer elements are kept on a separate layer if you need to animate them or show them in an open state during a presentation.

Ideal for residential projects, this bunk bed is a functional choice for shared children's rooms, small bedrooms, or family-oriented apartment designs. It works well in compact layouts where floor space is at a premium, as the integrated stairs eliminate the need for a separate ladder. Designers searching for space-saving furniture, kids' bedroom solutions, or contemporary nursery interior assets will find this piece highly versatile. It pairs effectively with minimalist decor and soft textiles to create a clean, organised, and inviting environment for younger occupants.
