About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a blue fabric upholstered wingback design supported by tapered dark wood legs. The armchair presents a classic wingback silhouette updated with contemporary proportions and clean lines. It features a high, gently curved backrest that provides structured support, transitioning into integrated, modest-sized arms. The seat cushion is well-defined with subtle piping detail along the edges, suggesting a tailored construction. The frame is lifted by four tapered legs finished in a deep, rich wood tone, which provides a grounding contrast to the vibrant blue textile upholstery. The overall form is balanced, offering a refined appearance suitable for both formal and casual interior settings.

The download is a 4.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is typically managed as a single object with grouped components for the upholstery and frame. Users should verify the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with standard seating dimensions. The fabric texture is mapped to the primary surfaces, allowing for easy adjustment of UVW coordinates or material properties to suit specific project lighting. The dark wood finish of the legs is applied as a separate material ID, facilitating quick modifications to the timber tone or material finish in the material editor.

This armchair is a versatile choice for residential living rooms, reading nooks, or hotel lobby lounges where a pop of colour is required. It pairs effectively with neutral-toned sofas or as a standalone accent piece in master bedrooms.
