Blue and White Double Layer Fabric Curtain Set

This contemporary double-layer fabric curtain model for SketchUp features a white sheer base with blue over-drapes and decorative tie-backs. This window treatment assembly consists of two distinct fabric layers. The primary layer is a floor-length white sheer, providing a neutral, light-filtering base. Overlaid are two blue opaque curtains, which are elegantly gathered at the sides using metal-finish tie-back rings. The drapes exhibit realistic folds and soft, natural hanging geometry, suggesting a high-quality textile weight. This set is designed as a single, cohesive unit, making it an efficient solution for quick interior staging. The proportions are balanced, suitable for standard residential window heights, and the clean aesthetic integrates easily into diverse interior design schemes.

The download is a 17.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, use the native move and scale tools to align the assembly with your window openings. Ensure the curtains are placed on a dedicated layer or tag to manage visibility during the modelling process. You may need to adjust the material properties within the material editor to control the transparency of the sheer layer and the reflectivity of the tie-back hardware to suit your lighting environment and preferred rendering output.

These curtains are ideal for residential bedroom or living room scenes, where they add a layer of softness and domestic detail. They pair well with modern or transitional furniture styles and can be used in architectural visualisations to imply privacy and comfort. Professionals searching for window dressings, drapes, or soft furnishings will find this asset useful for populating interior renders. It is particularly effective in high-end residential projects or hotel suite designs where a clean, layered window treatment is required for aesthetic depth.
