About this asset

This contemporary black upright piano with a matching bench is a detailed SketchUp model featuring a classic acoustic instrument design. This upright piano model features a sleek, high-gloss black finish consistent with modern acoustic instruments. The design includes a full-width keyboard, a music stand currently holding an open book, and three pedals at the base. The accompanying bench is a simple, four-legged design with a cushioned top, matching the piano's monochromatic aesthetic. The proportions are standard for a studio upright, making it suitable for realistic interior scenes.

The download is a 5.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and rotation within your interior scenes. Users should verify the scale against their project's floor plan before final positioning. The black surfaces are mapped with standard materials, which can be easily adjusted or replaced with custom textures to match specific lighting setups. Since the model includes both the piano and the bench, they can be moved as a single unit or separated to suit the specific layout of your music room or lounge.

Ideal for residential music rooms, formal living areas, or educational spaces, this piano adds a sophisticated focal point to any interior. It pairs effectively with classical or contemporary decor, such as wall moulding or minimalist busts, to create a refined atmosphere. Professionals often search for this asset when designing high-end homes, luxury hotel lobbies, or conservatory interiors. It serves as an essential element for filling corner spaces or creating a dedicated hobby zone within a larger open-plan layout, enhancing the overall project realism.
