About this asset

This minimalist 3ds Max workstation scene features a black work desk paired with a matching vertical wood-effect wall panel. The workstation comprises a sleek black desk with a drawer pedestal, paired with a curved, tan-upholstered armchair on slender metal legs. The focal point is a tall, vertical wall panel finished in a grey wood-grain texture, which serves as a backdrop for a framed portrait and a linear wall-mounted light fixture. A small spherical table lamp, a laptop, and various desk accessories complete the setup. The composition is balanced and contemporary, utilizing a dark palette that emphasizes clean lines and functional storage, making it suitable for compact home-office environments or modern professional study areas.

The download is a 38.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised with logical layer naming, allowing users to toggle the wall panel, furniture, and decor elements independently. The materials are pre-configured for standard renderers, so users should check texture paths upon opening the file to ensure all maps link correctly. The model is scaled to real-world units, making it straightforward to merge into larger interior projects. Users can easily swap the wall panel finish or adjust the desk accessories to tailor the workspace to specific project requirements.

This workstation asset is ideal for residential interior design, specifically in home-office or bedroom layouts where a compact, defined study area is required.
