About this asset

This minimalist vertical wall art frame for 3ds Max features a slim black metal profile and a monochrome architectural print. This vertical rectangular picture frame is defined by a clean, thin-profile black metal surround, offering a sharp and contemporary aesthetic. The internal composition features a high-contrast black and white photograph depicting a dense urban streetscape with a prominent skyscraper, set against a wide white mat board. The design is intentionally understated, focusing on linear geometry and monochromatic tones to complement modern interior palettes. The frame depth is minimal, ensuring a flush appearance when mounted on vertical surfaces, making it an effective solution for adding detail to empty walls without introducing visual clutter.

The download is a 256 KB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, use the standard merge command to import the file into your active project. The model is typically organised by object layers, allowing for easy selection of the frame and the internal print geometry. Ensure the pivot point is positioned at the rear of the frame for efficient wall alignment. If adjusting the artwork, the internal plane can be easily re-mapped with custom textures or high-resolution photography using a standard material editor setup.
