About this asset

This black lacquer 2-door cabinet for 3ds Max features intricate gold geometric metal inlays and a compact, art-deco inspired silhouette. This compact storage unit is finished in a deep black lacquer, providing a high-contrast backdrop for its decorative elements. The two cabinet doors are fronted with a sophisticated gold metal geometric lattice pattern, reminiscent of traditional fretwork with a modern art-deco twist. The piece stands on small, tapered feet and is accented with subtle gold knobs. A grey fabric travel bag rests on the surface, demonstrating the scale of the unit. The overall construction suggests a refined, ornamental approach to functional storage, suitable for areas where a statement piece is required.

In 3ds Max, this cabinet is typically managed as a single asset group. Users should ensure the object pivot is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within niche details. Materials are mapped to the distinct lacquer and metal surfaces; users can adjust the glossiness or reflection parameters to suit specific interior lighting setups. Scaling should be verified against standard furniture dimensions to maintain realistic proportions within the scene. The included travel bag accessory can be toggled or removed based on the composition.

This cabinet is well-suited for entryways, bedrooms, or luxury hotel suites where a decorative storage solution is needed. It functions effectively as a bedside nightstand or a small console in a hallway. Designers might search for accent storage, luxury bedroom furniture, or art-deco inspired cabinets when curating high-end residential interiors. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments or bold, monochromatic colour palettes, providing a focal point that balances utility with decorative flair in contemporary or classic-leaning interior design projects.
