About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a classic black lacquer upright piano paired with a matching upholstered bench for interior scenes. This upright piano is finished in a high-gloss black lacquer, characteristic of traditional acoustic instruments. It features a standard keyboard layout with black and white keys, a music rest, and detailed turned legs on both the instrument and the coordinating stool. The stool is topped with a white padded seat, providing a clean contrast to the dark frame. Included in the set are decorative accessories: a glass vase with red roses and a second vase containing delicate white floral branches, adding a sense of scale and life to the composition.

The download is a 15.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the piano, stool, and decorative accessories independently. Users should check the pivot points for the fallboard and bench lid to ensure proper animation if required. Apply standard materials to the glossy surfaces to manage reflections effectively. The model is optimised for high-quality architectural visualisation, with clean geometry that maintains the profile of the instrument when rendered from various angles within a larger interior scene.

Ideal for residential living rooms, music studios, or performance halls, this piano set serves as a focal point in high-end interior design projects. It complements traditional or classic interior styles and works well in luxury hotel lobbies or school music rooms. Professionals looking for a classic musical instrument asset will find this suitable for staging home interiors, formal reception areas, or cultural venues where a grand aesthetic is desired. It integrates seamlessly with other classic furniture and decor elements in a scene.
