About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a triple panel fabric curtain set with contrasting black and grey textile layers. The assembly consists of three distinct fabric panels designed to provide a layered window treatment solution. Two outer panels are finished in a deep black, while the central panel is rendered in a neutral light grey. Each panel features consistent vertical pleating along the header, creating uniform folds that cascade naturally toward the floor. The textile appears to have a soft, matte finish, suitable for light-filtering or blackout applications. The geometry is clean, focusing on the realistic drape of the fabric, which provides depth and shadow definition across the surface of the folds.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured for straightforward integration into architectural scenes. Users can easily scale the width and height of the panels to match specific window dimensions using standard transformation tools. The fabric texture is applied as a layered material, allowing for adjustments to opacity or bump maps to refine the drape's appearance. It is recommended to place the curtain on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance while fine-tuning lighting and shadow casting for final interior visualisations.

These curtains are ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel suites, or modern office boardrooms where a layered, sophisticated window aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with minimalist interior schemes or luxury contemporary bedroom designs. When searching for this asset, professionals typically look for drapery models that offer adjustable pleating and realistic fabric textures. This set adds a necessary layer of softness to glass-heavy architectural interiors, helping to balance hard surfaces while providing essential privacy and light control in rendered environments.
