About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair and ottoman set for 3ds Max features a rope-wrapped frame with neutral fabric cushions and a brown accent pillow. This lounge chair set features a low-profile, wide-seat design constructed with a distinct rope-wrapped frame that provides a light, airy aesthetic. The chair includes a plush, off-white seat cushion and a contrasting rectangular brown throw pillow for lumbar support. Accompanying the chair is a circular, button-tufted ottoman in a matching beige fabric, echoing the soft, rounded geometry of the ensemble. The materials are rendered with a focus on tactile textures, highlighting the organic weave of the rope and the smooth, woven finish of the upholstery on the seat and footstool.

The download is a 20 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment. The rope detailing is modelled with high-fidelity geometry, suitable for close-up renders. Users should check the pivot points upon insertion to ensure the chair and ottoman sit flush with the floor plane. Applying custom textures to the fabric elements is straightforward, as the UV maps are unwrapped for consistent tiling and scale across the cushions and the tufted ottoman surface.

Ideal for residential living rooms, sunrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies, this set brings a relaxed, contemporary feel to any interior. It works well when paired with minimalist side tables or placed in a quiet reading corner. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of casual, textured seating when specifying furniture for projects that require a soft, organic touch. The set is particularly effective in coastal-style homes or modern apartments where comfort and clean, approachable design are the primary focus.
