About this asset

A contemporary beige fabric modular sofa with chaise and integrated metal side table, provided as a 3ds Max model for interior design. This contemporary modular sofa features a low-profile, boxy silhouette upholstered in a neutral beige fabric. The configuration includes a wide seating module paired with an extended chaise section, creating a relaxed, lounge-oriented layout. A grey knitted throw blanket is draped across the chaise for added texture. Accompanying the seating is a slim, minimalist side table with a metallic frame and a compact top, positioned to nest against the sofa base. The overall aesthetic is clean and understated, focusing on comfort through generous proportions and soft, tactile upholstery materials.

The download is a 17.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is structured for efficient scene integration, with components grouped logically for easy transformation or material adjustments. Users should check the pivot points and scale upon merging into a master scene to ensure alignment with floor planes. The fabric and metal materials are mapped for standard render engine compatibility, allowing for quick adjustments to diffuse or reflective properties. Ensure that the associated textures are correctly linked in the asset tracker before initiating final renders of your interior space.

Ideal for residential living rooms, open-plan apartments, or high-end lounge areas, this modular sofa provides a versatile seating solution for contemporary interiors. It works well in projects requiring a relaxed, informal aesthetic, particularly when paired with area rugs, floor lamps, or minimalist decor. Interior designers and visualisers will find this piece useful for creating inviting, high-quality residential renders, especially when staging modern family rooms or quiet reading nooks where comfort and functional side storage are prioritized.
