About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max armchair features a structured beige fabric frame and a contrasting rust velvet scatter cushion. This club-style armchair is defined by its deep, enveloping profile and integrated armrests that curve gently inward. The main body is upholstered in a neutral, textured beige fabric, offering a clean and versatile aesthetic. A singular, square scatter cushion in a deep rust-coloured velvet provides a bold tactile and visual contrast. The base is solid and low-profile, maintaining a grounded appearance. The proportions are generous, suggesting a focus on comfort, while the seams are neatly tailored along the inner arms and seat cushion to maintain a sharp, architectural silhouette throughout.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material editing. The upholstery textures are mapped with standard unwrapping techniques, allowing for adjustments to the fabric grain or colour scaling as required. Users should ensure their scene lighting setup is configured to capture the subtle depth of the velvet cushion material and the weave of the beige fabric, typically requiring a balanced HDRI or area light setup to achieve realistic light absorption and soft shadows.

This armchair is well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a sophisticated, comfortable seating option is needed. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables or as a standalone accent piece in a reading corner. Designers often search for this type of asset when specifying luxury upholstery, club chairs, or contemporary lounge seating. It integrates seamlessly into projects requiring a neutral base palette with a pop of warm, autumnal colour for visual interest.
