About this asset

A contemporary double-layer fabric curtain SketchUp model featuring a white sheer base and beige outer drapes with integrated tie-backs. This window treatment assembly comprises two distinct layers of fabric designed for a soft, layered aesthetic. The inner layer consists of a crisp white sheer curtain, providing light diffusion, while the outer layer features heavier beige drapes pulled to the sides with simple rope-style tie-backs. The model captures the natural, soft folds and vertical pleats of the fabric, suggesting a realistic, weighted drape. The composition is symmetrical, intended to cover a standard window opening, with clean geometry that maintains a balance between functional utility and refined interior styling for residential or hotel spaces.

The download is a 4.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component, allowing for easy scaling to match specific window widths and heights. Users should apply material overrides or textures to the surface geometry to adjust the fabric transparency or colour palette. Due to the high number of edges defining the folds, it is recommended to keep the curtain on a dedicated layer to maintain viewport performance, especially when populating multiple rooms in a larger architectural project.

This curtain set is suitable for various residential interior projects, particularly in living rooms, bedrooms, or dining areas where a layered window treatment is required. It pairs well with modern or transitional furniture styles. Professionals often search for this type of asset when visualising high-end residential interiors, luxury apartments, or hotel suites. It provides an immediate sense of scale and softness to otherwise hard-edged architectural renders, helping to define the atmosphere of a space during the design development or presentation stages.
