About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features an arched double door assembly characterized by a dark wood frame and woven rattan infill panels. The assembly consists of two identical arched-top door leaves designed for a matching arched opening. Each leaf features a clean-lined wooden frame divided into two primary panels, both of which are filled with a fine-weave rattan mesh. The dark, stained timber finish provides a striking contrast to the natural, textured tone of the rattan, making it suitable for transitional or contemporary interior schemes. The geometry is refined, focusing on the balanced proportions of the arch and the repeating pattern of the woven material, which creates a sophisticated aesthetic suitable for high-end residential or boutique hospitality projects.

The download is a 19.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is structured for easy integration into interior scenes. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the hinge side of each door leaf to facilitate simple rotation for open or closed states. The rattan texture is mapped to respond to standard lighting setups, though adjusting the bump or displacement maps may enhance the depth of the weave. It is best managed by keeping the door leaves on a dedicated layer for viewport performance management.

This arched double door is ideal for residential interior transitions, such as openings between living rooms and dining areas, or as a feature entrance to a master bedroom suite. Its aesthetic pairs well with mid-century or organic modern furniture, particularly where natural textures are a focal point. Professionals searching for decorative room dividers, arched interior joinery, or rattan-accented architectural elements will find this asset useful for creating warm, inviting spaces in both luxury home design and high-concept restaurant or hotel lobby interiors.
