About this asset

This contemporary abstract metal sculpture set for 3ds Max features two distinct organic forms displayed on matching pedestals. This set consists of two unique abstract sculptures, each mounted on a simple, dark-toned rectangular pedestal. The forms are fluid and organic, characterized by sweeping curves and twisted planes that create dynamic silhouettes from multiple angles. One piece features a darker, matte finish, while the second presents a lighter, metallic, textured surface reminiscent of weathered bronze or aged steel. The proportions are balanced to suit interior display, providing a focal point for minimalist or high-end contemporary spaces.

The download is a 15.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate these sculptures into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and use the align tool to position the pedestals precisely on the floor plane. The objects are grouped for easy placement; however, you may wish to ungroup them to adjust the rotation of each sculpture independently for a more custom arrangement. Ensure the metallic material shaders are assigned correctly upon import, and adjust the reflection parameters to match the lighting environment of your specific interior render to achieve realistic highlights on the curved surfaces.

These sculptures are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobby consoles, or modern office reception areas where a refined, artistic touch is required. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, stone wall cladding, or architectural lighting features like the circular niche shown in the preview. Professionals often search for these assets when styling luxury interior visualizations, seeking abstract focal points that introduce texture and sculptural interest without overwhelming the overall composition of a sophisticated, contemporary space or a high-end gallery-inspired interior.
