About this asset

This SketchUp model features a pair of modern abstract wall panels with organic, labyrinthine relief patterns in white and black wood. These two decorative wall panels showcase a complex, flowing geometric design reminiscent of organic pathways or maze-like structures. Each panel is rendered with a distinct layered wood texture, suggesting a CNC-milled or stacked construction technique. The relief depth creates significant shadow play, which enhances the contrast between the light-toned and dark-toned finishes. The panels are rectangular in overall profile, though their edges follow the irregular, continuous curves of the internal pattern. This set provides a cohesive aesthetic for feature walls, offering a tactile and sculptural element to interior surfaces.

The download is a 13.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can easily scale the panels to fit specific wall dimensions or rotate them to create varying patterns when tiled together. Since the geometry is detailed, applying a high-resolution wood grain texture with correct UV mapping will ensure the layered material finish appears realistic in final renders. Ensure these are placed on a dedicated 'Wall Decor' layer to facilitate easy toggling during the design development phase.

Ideal for contemporary residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office reception areas, these panels serve as effective focal points. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral palettes, where the intricate pattern can act as a primary visual interest. Architects and interior designers might search for these when specifying feature walls, sculptural wall cladding, or acoustic-style decorative treatments. They are suitable for projects ranging from high-end residential renovations to commercial branding installations requiring a sophisticated, artistic touch.
