About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features an abstract blue and green acrylic sculpture mounted on a tiered wooden base and metal stand. The sculpture consists of a series of thin, curved acrylic panels arranged in a fan-like, fluid motion. The colour gradient shifts from a deep azure blue at the base to a vibrant leaf green at the tips, creating a dynamic visual effect. This assembly rests upon a dark, horizontally-ribbed wooden bowl-shaped plinth, which is supported by a slender, minimalist black metal frame stand. The composition balances geometric precision with organic curves, providing a sophisticated focal point for interior spaces. The entire unit is presented as a singular, cohesive decorative object.

The download is a 29.1 MB file containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised as a single editable object, allowing for straightforward placement into interior scenes. Users should check the pivot point at the base of the metal stand for easy alignment on surfaces. Materials are applied to separate elements, permitting individual adjustment of the acrylic transparency or the wooden grain texture. Lighting this piece requires careful consideration of the light transmission properties of the acrylic panels to achieve the desired translucent glow and caustic reflections.

This sculpture is ideal for high-end residential living rooms, modern hotel lobbies, or executive office reception areas. It serves as a striking centrepiece on console tables, sideboards, or plinths. Design professionals often search for abstract art or contemporary decorative objects to add character to minimalist interiors. It pairs effectively with clean-lined furniture and neutral wall finishes, where the vibrant blue and green tones can provide a necessary contrast.
