Japanese Zen Garden Scene with Rockery and Pine

This Japanese Zen garden scene for 3ds Max features a tranquil water basin, weathered rockery, and sculpted pine trees. Composed as a minimalist landscape vignette, this scene integrates natural textures with structured architectural elements. The central water feature provides a reflective surface, anchored by rugged, moss-toned rock formations that mimic mountain silhouettes. Two distinct pine trees are positioned with deliberate asymmetry, their branches pruned to evoke traditional bonsai aesthetics. The perimeter is enclosed by a linear, off-white textured stone wall, providing a clean backdrop that contrasts with the organic forms of the gravel foreground and the water. The composition emphasizes balance, stillness, and the interplay between light, shadow, and materiality.

The download is a 42.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.
