Japanese Garden Zen Elements Set

This collection of Japanese Zen garden elements for SketchUp features stone water basins, bamboo spouts, and traditional lanterns. This set comprises six distinct Japanese-inspired garden components, focusing on traditional Zen aesthetics. Included are various stone water basins (tsukubai) paired with bamboo spouts, a sculpted Buddha head, a stone pagoda lantern, and meticulously arranged rock groupings. The geometry features raked sand patterns, bonsai-style trees, and dense bamboo clusters, providing a balanced composition of natural stone and organic greenery. Each element is modelled with high attention to the characteristic textures of weathered rock and smooth bamboo. The collection acts as a modular kit for creating serene, meditative exterior environments within a larger site plan.

The download is a 53.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these assets into a SketchUp master file, use the component browser to import the individual elements as separate blocks. This allows for precise placement and rotation within your site topography. Because the materials are pre-applied, you can easily adjust the texture mapping or overlay custom shaders for rendering. Ensure these components are placed on dedicated layers to manage scene complexity, especially when working with high-density geometry like the bamboo foliage or the intricate stone textures found throughout the set.
