About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max outdoor balcony scene features a fully furnished lounge set beneath a slatted timber ceiling. This complete exterior scene is defined by a modular lounge arrangement consisting of a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, and two matching low coffee tables. The furniture is constructed from grey synthetic wicker with light grey upholstered cushions. Overhead, a slatted timber canopy provides filtered light, casting rhythmic shadows across the wood-planked deck. The setting is enclosed by a minimal metal railing, overlooking a coastal landscape. Potted greenery is positioned at the corners to soften the architectural lines of the space, creating a cohesive and ready-to-render environment for high-end residential balcony or terrace visualizations.

The download is a 83.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this scene into a project, users should import the native 3ds Max file into their master scene or work directly within the provided file structure. The lighting setup is optimized for daylight conditions; however, users can easily adjust the HDRI or sun parameters to match specific project requirements. Textures and material IDs are organized for efficient editing, allowing for quick adjustments to the timber finish or fabric colours. Ensure that all proxy assets or linked external paths are correctly re-pathed upon initial loading.
