Traditional Folding Screen and Partition Set

This traditional folding screen and partition set for SketchUp features intricate timber framing with paper panels and painted motifs. The set includes a four-panel folding screen and a secondary single-panel partition, both constructed from dark-stained timber frames with subtle joinery details. The panels feature off-white paper infills, with select panels decorated with delicate landscape paintings in a traditional style. The single-panel unit includes integrated geometric lattice work at the top and bottom, adding visual texture. Accompanying the partition is a matching floor lamp with a fabric-style shade and an ornate wooden base, completing the cohesive aesthetic. The proportions are slender and elegant, suitable for defining interior zones without obstructing light.

The download is an 18 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are organised into logical groups, allowing for easy positioning and scaling within an interior scene. The folding screen panels can be rotated on their hinges to create custom configurations or angled layouts. Apply high-resolution textures to the paper panels to enhance realism, and use the lamp as a light-emitting component by assigning an emissive material or light source to the shade geometry. Keep the high-detail lattice work on a separate layer for better viewport performance during model navigation.
