About this asset

This SketchUp model set provides a diverse collection of natural landscape stones, featuring varied grey boulders and mossy rocks. The set comprises a wide variety of natural stone forms, ranging from large, angular grey boulders to smaller, rounded river stones and dark gravel fragments. Several pieces include mossy textures, adding a weathered, organic aesthetic suitable for naturalistic site planning. The collection encompasses irregular jagged rocks, stacked block-like stones, and scattered pebble groupings. Each element is modelled with distinct surface detailing, providing realistic variation in geometry and texture that avoids a repetitive appearance when populated across a site plan or exterior rendering.

The download is a 45.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 30 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these individual stone assets are best utilised as components. Users can easily scatter, rotate, and scale them to populate garden beds, driveways, or water features. Given the varied sizes, they are ideal for creating naturalistic transitions between paved areas and planting zones. Applying high-resolution textures to these meshes ensures detail holds up even in close-up exterior views, while keeping the overall file size manageable for complex site models.

These landscape stones are essential for professionals designing residential gardens, public parks, and terrace landscaping. They integrate seamlessly into site plans requiring realistic ground cover, rockeries, or decorative border elements. Architects and landscape designers can use these to define pathways, fill dry creek beds, or accent water features. They pair effectively with native planting models, gravel paths, and paving materials to create authentic outdoor environments, whether for high-end residential projects or expansive public urban spaces.
