Modern Organic Luminaire Column Set

This modern SketchUp model features two organic-form luminaire columns with integrated LED arrays and cylindrical timber bases. These sculptural columns feature an organic, flared top profile reminiscent of natural forms, finished in a smooth white plaster. The shaft and cap are embedded with a matrix of light points, creating a diffuse, ambient glow that transitions from a starlit effect to a solid luminous surface. The structure is anchored by a low-profile cylindrical base finished in a warm-toned natural wood, providing a grounding contrast to the ethereal lighting above. The set includes two variations of the light intensity, showcasing both the individual point-source detail and the full-surface illumination capability.

The download is a 33.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these columns function as component-based assets. Users can easily scale the height to fit specific ceiling clearances, provided the organic geometry is maintained. The lighting effect is managed through material emissive properties; apply standard light-emitting materials to the patterned surfaces for render-ready results. Ensure the base components are kept on a separate layer for easy material swapping or texture mapping of the wood grain to match interior finishes. The model is optimized for quick insertion into larger interior scenes.
