About this asset

This SketchUp model features two luxury fluted timber columns with integrated LED lighting and a circular upholstered base. These bespoke interior columns feature a sophisticated fluted timber finish that tapers towards the base, creating a rhythmic, vertical texture. The design incorporates integrated LED lighting channels between the tiers, providing a warm, ambient glow that highlights the fluting. One column is mounted on a tiered, circular upholstered plinth in an off-white fabric, finished with a subtle gold metallic band at the bottom, while the second column stands as a standalone floor-to-ceiling element. The proportions are elegant and sculptural, designed to serve as a focal point in high-end interior spaces.

The download is a 10.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these columns are provided as clean, component-based geometry, allowing for easy placement and alignment within your interior model. The materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily adjusted or replaced to match your project's specific palette. Use the layers or tags to manage the lighting components separately from the structural timber elements, enabling efficient control over visibility and rendering settings when exporting to visualization software for final scene composition.

These columns are ideal for high-end residential lobbies, luxury hotel interiors, or boutique retail showrooms where a strong architectural statement is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary decor, providing a sense of verticality and refined detail. Designers typically search for these when specifying feature elements for grand entries, lounge areas, or dining spaces. They are most effective when used in pairs to frame a doorway or an artwork, serving both as structural-visual markers and ambient light sources.
