Modern Black Aluminium Window Frame Collection

A comprehensive library of modern black aluminium windows formatted for SketchUp, featuring diverse configurations and glazing options. This extensive set comprises over one hundred distinct window configurations, ranging from simple fixed panes to complex multi-light casement systems. Each unit is defined by a slender, clean-lined black aluminium frame, providing a contemporary aesthetic suitable for various architectural styles. The glazing options vary across the set, showing different reflective properties and transparency levels. The collection includes both horizontal and vertical orientations, providing architects with a versatile toolkit for facade development. These units are designed with precise geometric proportions, ensuring realistic shadow casting and depth when integrated into a larger building model.

The download is a 41.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 120 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users can efficiently import these components into SketchUp as individual blocks or a library file. The models are organised for easy selection, allowing designers to swap window types within a facade design quickly. Best practice involves placing these units on a dedicated layer to manage visibility and performance. Applying materials is straightforward, as the glass and frame components are grouped, facilitating the adjustment of transparency, reflection, or frame colour to match specific project requirements without altering the underlying geometry.
