Contemporary White Marble Curved Staircase with Integrated Lighting

This contemporary curved staircase SketchUp model features white marble treads and integrated LED lighting within a plaster balustrade. This sculptural staircase design features a clean, sweeping curve defined by a smooth, minimalist plaster outer stringer. The treads are finished in a polished white marble with distinct grey veining, providing a luxurious contrast to the matte finish of the surrounding structure. Integrated LED strip lighting runs continuously along the inner edge of the balustrade, casting a soft glow onto the steps and enhancing the fluid geometry of the piece. The design is intended as a central feature, balancing organic form with high-end material selection for a sophisticated, modern interior architectural statement.

The download is a 17.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

The geometry is grouped for easy scaling to match specific floor-to-floor heights. Users should apply high-resolution material overrides to the marble textures if closer render shots are required. The integrated lighting components can be mapped to emissive materials or light-emitting proxies to achieve the desired illumination effect in external rendering engines while maintaining the structural integrity of the model.

This staircase model is well-suited for high-end residential projects, hotel lobbies, and luxury commercial showrooms where a feature element is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors, stone flooring, and curated indoor landscaping, such as bonsai or feature trees. Architects and interior designers can utilise this asset during the concept development and design documentation phases to define circulation paths and focal points. Search for this element when looking for curved architectural stairs, statement lobby features, or premium marble interior components.
