About this asset

This contemporary curved staircase SketchUp scene features a stone-tread design with integrated timber wall cladding and a decorative indoor garden. This architectural scene showcases a sweeping curved staircase featuring grey stone treads and a clean white outer stringer. The assembly is anchored by vertical timber paneling that follows the staircase curve, providing a warm contrast to the minimalist structure. At the base, the design incorporates a curated indoor garden set within a bed of white decorative pebbles. This includes a small palm, lush ferns, and a dark, textured rock feature with a sculptural element. The composition is finished with a grey veined marble floor and a breeze-block partition wall in the background.

The download is a 98.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into a SketchUp project, import the file as a component or group. The materials are mapped for immediate rendering, but users should check texture paths if they appear missing upon import. The high-poly vegetation and rock elements should be placed on a separate layer to maintain model performance when working in complex architectural scenes. Adjust the scale and orientation to align with your specific floor-to-ceiling heights and floor plan layout before finalizing the surrounding environment.

This staircase scene is ideal for high-end residential, hotel lobby, or retail showroom projects where a feature element is required to anchor a double-height space. It works well in contemporary or minimalist interior concepts that utilize natural materials like wood and stone. Professionals can use this asset during the concept development or visualization stages to quickly add detail to atrium designs, entrance halls, or open-plan living areas, effectively pairing it with modern lighting fixtures and neutral wall finishes to complete the look.
